Ramzan Jafri is of Hazara origin- a group of Shia Muslims that are facing brutal ethnic cleansing and pogrom in their home territories in Peshawar. Ramzan’s work shows traditional Hazara textiles and dress that are drawn in painstaking, exquisite detail. The material is slowly unraveling as is the very fabric of their lives.
